Corrections policy

When we get something wrong, we fix the page and record the change here. Response target for confirmed factual errors: within 5 business days of verification.

What we correct

  • Correction — a factual error that could mislead readers (wrong dates, misattributed research, incorrect product limits).
  • Clarification — wording that was accurate but easy to misread; we tighten language without changing the underlying fact.
  • Update — the world changed (engine policy, pricing, collector status); we refresh the same URL and bump dateModified.
  • Retraction — a claim cannot be supported; we remove it and note why.

How to report an error

Email editorial@aeoarc.com or use contact sales with subject “Editorial correction”. Include the page URL, the incorrect statement, and a preferred source if you have one.
